Terms & Condtions

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases and use of How to Make Chocolate at Home, offered by Chocolate Alchemy, LLC, doing business as Chocolate Alchemy (we, us, or our).

These terms take effect upon publication and apply to purchases made on or after that date. By purchasing the course, you agree to these terms.

Your purchase

Your purchase provides access to the course videos for one person. The price, payment arrangements, and course access date are shown on the enrollment page and at checkout. Early enrollment is a presale purchase and does not provide immediate access to the videos.

Your purchase does not include a promise of future course updates or community access.

Your account and technical access

Use your own account to access the course and keep your login details secure. Do not share your account or login credentials with other people.

You will need an internet connection and a device and browser capable of playing online video. If you have trouble signing in or playing the videos, contact us at support@howtomakechocolateathome.com.

Course materials and permitted use

You receive a personal, non-transferable license to view the course and use any copies we make available to you. Buying the course does not transfer ownership of the videos or other course materials.

Except with our permission or as permitted by applicable law, you must not share, copy for others, upload, repost, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit the course videos or other course materials. These restrictions apply to the course materials themselves, not to the chocolate-making knowledge and techniques you learn.

Teaching and group use

The individual purchase does not include permission to show the course to a class or group or use its materials to deliver another course. Nonprofit organizations may contact us to request written permission before using the materials for teaching.

Permission applies only to the use we approve. Nothing in these terms restricts an educational use or other use that applicable law permits without our permission.

Email support

John Nanci will answer course-related questions by email for as long as he remains with Chocolate Alchemy. Personal support from John is not promised after he leaves the company.

Send course questions and technical-access questions to support@howtomakechocolateathome.com.

Ongoing access and hosting closure

Your purchase provides ongoing access to the course videos while we host them. It does not require us to keep the course on Kajabi or operate online hosting indefinitely.

If we decide to discontinue online hosting, we will notify you by email and provide a download window of at least 30 days so you can keep a copy of the course videos. The same personal-use and sharing restrictions apply to downloaded copies. Downloads are not promised on request during normal online hosting.

If circumstances outside our control prevent advance notice or a download window, contact us so we can address your access. If you miss an announced download window, contact us; requests for another download opportunity will be reviewed case by case. These provisions do not limit remedies required by applicable law.

Unauthorized sharing

If you share your account or distribute course materials in breach of these terms, we may revoke your course access without a discretionary refund. This does not apply to a use permitted by applicable law and does not remove any mandatory refund or other consumer rights.

Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund and Presale Policy explains how we handle cancellations, delayed release, failure to deliver, and refund requests. Read that policy before purchasing; it applies alongside these terms.

Using what you learn

The course provides chocolate-making instruction. Your results will depend on your ingredients, equipment, and how you apply the techniques. Follow equipment manufacturers' safety instructions and appropriate food-handling practices when making chocolate.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law gives you rights or remedies that conflict with these terms, those rights take precedence.
